Lilac Paper is a small company I started with Charlene Veranunt while we were in our last year of dental school. It bloomed from a need for organized planning, specifically for the dental professional student. Our main product is a dental school planner.

Here's a few things I've lettered. Most of these, if not all, were promotionals for Lilac Paper. These all start off as doodles on paper in either pen or pencil. Then I scan them into photoshop and color away. I guess learning how to color inside the lines in kindergarten really helped me with these babies.

TEDx is an independently organized TED event devoted to ideas worth spreading. TEDx La Sierra University hosted their first TEDx event in 2014. The theme was "The Possible" with a focus on three ideas: Imagine the Possible, Design the Possible, and Prove the Possible. The event was led out by Program Manager John Razzouk of La Sierra University's School of Business and Event Creative Director Yvette Goltiao.
This freelance piece used a light bulb as it is readily understood as an idea, particularly knowledge-based and thought provoking. Imagine the Possible uses imagery of a diamond-lightbulb to represent a "bright" idea. Design the Possible is symbolized by a pencil-lightbulb as an elemental process of beginning designs whether industrial/graphic/systemic with getting it down on paper first; the "right (write)" idea. Prove the Possible is represented by a ruler/measuring stick-lightbulb for "good" idea. Proven ideas are measurable. Good measure.
